The Wedding Diaries by Laura Bloom
I just finished reading a great book called "The Wedding Diaries" by Laura Bloom. This is an excellent book to read if you are just starting to plan a wedding or in the middle of the wedding planning. The author of the book, Laura takes us through her experiences of planning her wedding on a tight budget.
I devoured the book within 2 days and enjoyed Laura's account of her experiences and ups and downs while she tried to stick to a budget, shopped for her wedding dress, chose and decorated her own venue (the Town Hall), arranged the catering and more.
The book even includes a breakdown of the average UK wedding costs. This is really helpful if you have absolutely no clue (like me) of how much things are going to cost.
This isn't a dull wedding guide - it is an interesting and amusing account of someone's real life experience of planning a wedding.
